Summer Chess Camp

Chess Camp 2014

DUMBO Summer Chess Camp

This summer, give your child the gift that lasts a lifetime.

Too many of our children waste precious time playing video games that
have no useful purpose. Give your child the gift of chess, the game of
logic and reason that anyone can learn. Chess is a valuable hobby that
teaches focus, planning, and organization. Children learn how to set their
own goals and how to make the plans to achieve them. And it’s like riding
a bicycle, because once taught, the skills of chess will last for a lifetime.

Whether new to chess or expert, Chess Camp will boost your child’s ability.

About Our Camp:

The Summer Chess Camp is hosted at Abundant Learning, a boutique learning center in Brooklyn’s historic Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass neighborhood.  The Chess Camp is conducted by staff members from Ciano Chess & Chess-in-Brooklyn.

Summer Chess Camp consists of concise training that includes fun-based chess lessons,  audiovisuals, and team competitions. Our 5- 1 student - to - teacher ratio even allows us to offer a degree of individual guidance. And for at least one hour of every day, we will provide group game activities such as nerf soccer to ensure that children get daily exercise.

Camp will be held Monday thru Friday of each week, from 9AM to 4PM. Camp starts on Monday, June 23, 2014 and ends on Friday, August 8, 2014. Notes: There is no session on Friday, July 4th. Also, child pickups must be made by 4PM to avoid a $20 late fee.

CAMP RATES:$475 per week. Pay in advance for 6 weeks, and the 7th week is free!
Camp weeks may be used for spring, summer, or winter camps for two years pending availability.
